Brown Sugar Salmon- Pan seared




Preparation/cook time: 15-20minutes


What you will need:


  • Wild Salmon or Salmon fillets

  • Onion powder

  • Garlic Powder

  • Adobe (my go to seasoning) or Salt and Pepper

  • 1 stick of Butter

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

  • Non-stick pan


Rinse Salmon, pat dry and season - put aside

NOTE: I seasoned skin side of salmon while in pan- meat side fully seasoned


  1. Melt stick of butter in pan, as butter melted stir in Brown Sugar -

  2. Once butter/sugar mixture is really hot Add Salmon meat down skin up for about 12-13 minutes- Flip carefully and allow skin side to cook for 5-6 minutes

  3. Remove salmon from pan- Drain buttery sugar mixture to drizzle on salmon
